The Montecristo brand was first known in 1935 by the name
of H. Upmann Montecristo Selection. The John Hunter Firm,
a British distribution agent shortened the name to Montecristo
and redesigned the logo to it's present day red and yellow
box with the triangular crossed swords.
Of all Cuban cigars exported each year, the Montecristo brand
of cigars is the highest. Making it the most popular cigar
worldwide.
Montecristo's new release is Robusto Limitada. The 2 Year
Old Special Maduro is a full flavored cigar with nutty, chocolate
overtones and a spicy finish.
